ACCIDENT ON HOLETOWN ROAD

An accident occurred about 5.40 am on Saturday 26^th June, 2010, on Holetown Road, St James in the area of the Lime Grove construction involving a motor car driven by Kevin Rose, 21, of Brandons, St. Michael.

The motorcar struck an embankment and landed in a drain. It caught fire and was extensively damaged. The fire was extinguished by the Barbados Fire Service. The incident caused the rupture of a natural gas main to the area, damage to a drain under construction and minor damage to a nearby building. The four (4) other occupants of the car were unhurt

Police are continuing investigations .
