ILLEGAL DRUGS DESTROYED

The Royal Barbados Police Force on Tuesday 22^nd June 2010, destroyed a quantity of illegal drugs. These drugs were obtained through operations done by the Drugs Squad and some were found. Most of the compressed drugs were from a drug landing, and the plants were found growing in several remote areas through the country. No persons were arrested for these seizures.

Destroyed were:
• 842 cannabis plants; and
• 543.9 pounds (247.26 kgs) of compress cannabis.
