NASSCO RBPF PARTNERSHIP LAUNCH

On Friday May 21st 2010, Nassco, the agents for Toyota vehicles and the Royal Barbados Police Force signed an MOU whereby police officers, their spouses and children over the age of sixteen, together with civilian members of the Police Department and retired police officers, will benefit from certain concessions when doing business with Nassco.

Assistant Commisiner of Police, Management Services, Oral Williams signed on behalf of the Royal Barbados Police Force. Mr. Roger Hill, Managing Director, signed on behalf of Nassco. Also present at the launch, were Station Sergeant Michael Sobers, President of the Barbados Police Association, Sir Roy Trotman President of CTUSAB, Mr. Denis dePeiza Chairman of CTUSAB, Mr. Frank daSilva, Advisor to Sir Roy and Pastor Victor Roach.

Persons registered under the Memorandum will receive a 3.5% discount on new vehicles purchased to a maximum of $4000.00, a 15% discount on cash purchases on car parts, and a 5% discount on all labour charges levied on Toyota vehicles serviced at Nassco.

This initiative is Nassco's contribution to the Force, having recognized the good work the members were doing in the community, and their effort to ease the burden on officers desirous of purchasing and keeping in good condition, their vehicles. The agreement will expire in three years.
