SHOOTING SUSPECT ARRESTED

Suleman Esuf, 21 years, Redman Village, St. Thomas, was arrested and charged for the following offences:

1. Violent Disorder
2. Use of a firearm, and
3. Serious Bodily Harm.

These charges arose out of two separate shooting incidents which occurred on the Friday 20^th August, 2010:

1. A 31 year old Christ Church man, received gunshot injuries to his left knee and right leg whilst at Cane Vale, Christ Church; and
2. A 20 year old Christ Church man, received a gunshot injury to his right buttock.

Esuf appeared before Magistrate Michelle Weekes at the Oistins Magistrate Court and was remanded to reappear on the 20^th September 2010.

Investigations are still on-going in this matter to locate other persons involved.
