WOMAN ARRESTED AND CHARGE FOR ILLEGAL DRUG OFFENCES

Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged Alison Vaughn GALE, 54 years, (a teacher) of #45 Graeme Hall Terrace, Christ Church for the following offences:

  • Possession of Cannabis;
  • Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply;
  • Trafficking of Cannabis; and
  • Cultivation of Cannabis.

A search warrant was executed at Mrs. Gale's residence about 6.35 pm on Tuesday 27th July 2010, and 11 cannabis plants were found growing in her front yard, and a loose quantity was also discovered in her house.

Alison Vaughn Gale appeared at the Oistins Court on Wednesday 28th July 2010, before (Ag.) Magistrate A. Seale, and pleaded guilty to the following:

  • On the charge of Possession of cannabis, she was fined $10,000 in 6 months or 12 months in prison;
  • On the charge of cultivation, she was fined $15,000 in 6 months or 12 months in prison;
  • On the charge of trafficking, she was Convicted, Reprimanded and Discharged (CRD);
  • With regards to the charge of Possession with intent to supply, this charge was withdrawn.
